Meet Your The 'Spirit-Free' Challenge Founders & Coaches: 

A born and raised San Diego girl, Cindy is an entrepreneur, writer, health and wellness lover that's been on a path to personal growth for most of her life. It all started as a small child sitting by her mother's side as she became a marriage family therapist. In 2020, Cindy decided she wanted to make sure she was working on self-care practices and good habits.  Q:  How does the Spirit-Free Challenge work?

A: You will get a new lesson from us every day. Each lesson builds on the last to help you —one simple step at a time. You'll have a login for an online portal containing a daily written and video lesson from us. Some lessons will be super short and sweet, and others will be a little longer. You'll need between 15 and 30 minutes to complete the daily assignments.

I'll also send you a daily email during the challenge with a link to that day's lesson and some encouragement.

And you can join the private Facebook community to connect with me and other challenge-takers.

You'll have access to the content in the portal for 60 days, giving you plenty of time to complete the challenge if you need some extra time.

 Q:  I don't use Facebook. Is it required to take the challenge?

A:  The 30 lessons will be delivered in the online portal, so you can take the challenge without joining the private Facebook group. Each lesson is provided as written content and a video recording, so you'll have guidance every step of the way. As you start to do the work daily, self-care will become a habit! Remember, a habit is just a behavior that's repeated regularly. So we're looking forward to hanging together often! 

However, all of the interactions with other challenge participants will occur in the Facebook group, and I may also supplement the core lessons with posts. It really depends on your preference—some people love interacting with other participants in the Facebook group, while others prefer to keep it simple and just stick to having us guiding them daily. Either way, you'll have tons of support along the way.

 Q: Is this Challenge right for me? 

A:  The challenge is perfect for you if you're a moderate drinker or "gray area" drinker that would like to take a break from alcohol. This is for those who don't really resonate with labels or have to count days. We focus on learning through experiences and seeing "slips" as feedback, not failures. 

If you feel like you are physically dependent or addicted to alcohol, this program is not for you. There are excellent programs and treatment centers out there, and we encourage you to find help. 

 Q: What if I have an event or end up having a drink? 

A:  If you have an event planned, don't let that stop you from signing up. While we encourage you to take a break for as many days as possible, this is about progress, not perfection, and having a new mindful approach. The goal is to set alcohol aside for enough time to feel the clarity you are looking for and feel great.
